Forensics & Security Printing

ImageXpert's systems are used for image inspection in the security printing industry and forensic sciences.

Our systems can be used in aiding authentication, detection and analysis of forgeries, counterfeits and altered documents. For security printing these systems can measure quality of printed output and assess wear of banknotes.

The systems can be used to inspect the characteristics of documents such as: currency, passports, stamps, seals and many others. Testing options range from analysis of signatures and embossed regions, to print quality attributes.

ImageXpert offers a number of unique systems, all designed to inspect various document attributes. At the core of each system is our powerful ImageXpert software. The image input path can range from simple, single-camera or scanner-based systems to very complex, multi-camera full-motion systems with integrated X-Rite color and density measurement capabilities, or laser height profiling capabilities.

Scanner

ImageXpert's scanner-based system is used for printability and paper quality measurements. Useful for analysis of larger areas or larger features, the scanner is run directly through the ImageXpert software. The optional automatic document feeder allows for batch processing and the automation of objective and repeatable analysis. ImageXaminer is suitable for mill, production and R&D applications.
