ImageXpert's image quality measurement systems have changed the way thermal ribbon quality is inspected. Traditionally, printed pages were evaluated visually; however, visual inspection is time consuming and inherently subjective.
ImageXpert's automated systems can produce results accurately, quickly and objectively. Evaluate print features such as: banding, spots, character continuity, uniformity and many others.
ImageXpert offers a number of system configurations, all designed to inspect image quality. At the core of each system is our powerful ImageXpert software. The image input path can range from simple, single-camera or scanner-based systems to very complex, multi-camera full motion-systems with integrated X-Rite color and density measurement capabilities.

Measure print quality on the spot with ImageXpert's handheld unit. Small enough to fit in your briefcase, this portable unit can be used in the lab, in the field and in production environments. ImageXpress includes the full ImageXpert software package. Get results within a few seconds!
ImageXpert's scanner-based system is used for printability and paper quality measurements. Useful for analysis of larger areas or larger features, the scanner is run directly through the ImageXpert software. The optional automatic document feeder allows for batch processing and the automation of objective and repeatable analysis. ImageXaminer is suitable for mill, production and R&D applications.
Full-motion systems automate image quality inspection for a wide range of applications. Combining motion control, image capture from multiple cameras, image analysis software and additional instrumentation such as laser profiling, glossmeters and spectrophotometers, the full-motion systems support the high throughput required in production environments and the widely varied tests required in R&D.
This low-cost, camera-based solution is excellent for low-volume applications and R&D environments. Images can be captured from one or more cameras set at the resolution that best suits the requirements of your application. The full ImageXpert software allows for detailed image analysis of a variety of image features.
